Volodymyr Pyatenko, head coach of the Dynamo Kyiv women's team appreciated the performances of his players and spoke about the training process during the break for international matches.
Vladimir Pyatenko- We are training, strengthening all the components of the game, everything is according to plan. We are working on the bugs, we are working on the moments that require special attention.
- 7 rounds of the Major League of Ukraine are already behind - how can you evaluate the work of your wards?
- We will evaluate our work after the completion of the first round of the championship, it is still too early to say. There are positives, there are negatives. Work continues, we are working to ensure that there are fewer negative moments. There is what is. You will never be satisfied with everything, and the girls know about it.
- An unpleasant moment was a draw with the "Panthers" (1: 1) - why didn't you manage to bring the score to a victory?
- There are many factors - both implementation and attitude. But the most important thing is that someone feels that they have achieved something, and immediately reduces the requirements for themselves, which is why, unfortunately, this happens. There is a psychological factor, especially for girls.
- What should I do to prevent this from happening?
- For my part, I conduct conversations, but the players themselves must be aware. I hope they already understand this.
- How do injured players feel, at what stage of rehabilitation?
— We are doing everything to return to service as soon as possible. Someone leaves the infirmary, someone gets there.
— I would like to congratulate you and the team on the occasion of Tatyana Bondarenko’s call to the WU-19 national team of Ukraine. Is it also an indicator that the team is moving in the right direction?
— Yes, it's good both for her and for the team. But positive moments should not affect the work.
- Despite the injuries of the starting line-up players, the team looked decent in the match against Dnipro-1. Have newcomers joined the team?
- I would not like to single out anyone, everyone is in their place, they work, train, all are equivalent to me. And every game and training shows everything. The main thing is that everyone joined the team, in this regard, everyone is great. There are no irreplaceable players, and the girls know it.
- In what conditions do you work, taking into account power outages?
- There are problems with the light, but thank God we are training in the Dynamo arena. The management of the club provides all conditions for work. We try to get out of every situation with the least losses. Thank God that there is the Armed Forces of Ukraine, thanks to them we are holding the championship.
- Does the news about the liberation of our cities and villages in the south of Ukraine raise the morale of the team?
— Yes, we are watching the events, we are experiencing. We are glad that the lands are being liberated, we perceive our victories with enthusiasm. Girls try to bring joy to those who are at the front, their relatives and fans with their work, victories.
