General Director of Shakhtar Donetsk Sergey Palkin in an interview with The Athletic spoke about the possible transfer of midfielder Mikhail Mudrik.
“Mudrik is always interested, this is a constant process. Every week a club appears, but the clubs don't come and say, "Okay, take 50 million and give us Mudrik." They understand that he is quite an expensive player. They also begin to understand our club: what is our strategy, how we work. In any case, the time will come and, of course, there will be a big club that will give us 100 million euros.
Mudrik is a talent in the process of development. What Mikhail demonstrates today is only 60 percent of what he can do in the future. Therefore, I believe that in the future it can cost about 100 million euros.
Five or six clubs in the world can afford such a transfer. Sometimes even some clubs in the Premier League can surprise you, and not just the top teams,” said Palkin.
