A few days ago, "Al-Ain" midfielder Andriy Yarmolenko returned to his homeland for the first time since the beginning of Ukraine's full-scale war with Russia and visited his native Chernihiv region.
Emirati journalist Mohamed Hamad commented on the information on Yarmolenko's possible return to Dynamo on his Twitter.
"Ukrainians are discussing the possibility of Andrii Yarmolenko's return to Dynamo Kyiv, with which he achieved great success. His contract with Al Ain expires in June 2023 and the player was in Kyiv this week."
The reaction of Al-Ain fans did not take long, they previously criticized the experienced winger for visiting Ukraine.
@just_alain: "Can't see him on the field because he's a burden for the team. It is necessary to get rid of it in winter. I can't wait to see him in an Al Ain shirt because he failed."
@ 9apvv: "Thank God".
Some fans of "Al-Ain" did not support the possible departure of the Ukrainian and hope that Yarmolenko will remain in the team.
@alkhmyry_mhmd: "I hope it continues."
@mohd18684683: "Mohamed, I understand that Yarmolenko is the only problem in Al-Ain?" The evidence is also that contracts have already been concluded with players from whom the club has not benefited, and this is a shortcoming of those responsible for player contracts. Even the local players who signed contracts only played a few minutes."
It will be recalled that the 33-year-old winger joined the UAE team last summer as a free agent.
