The head coach of the youth national team of Ukraine Ruslan Rotan summed up the results of two friendly matches of his team, which took place the other day in Georgia. Recall that last Saturday the Ukrainian "youth team" played a draw with the Israeli youth team - 1: 1, and yesterday with the same score finished a sparring match with the Georgian "youth team".

In general, these two matches gave us a lot of information about both the nearest reserve and the guys who will be preparing for Euro 2023 (U-21). We also looked at the players who will be preparing for the next qualifying round. This gathering has become a kind of grain from which a new team is born and another continues.
Today we have 14 debutants. It is very nice. I am glad that a lot of playing guys appear abroad. As for their trip to Euro 2023 (U-21), the door to the Ukrainian youth team is open for everyone. We have a spring training camp ahead of us, and a tournament begins in the summer. All the guys have time to show themselves, they have a chance to get to the European Championship,” said Ruslan Rotan.
