Wales goalkeeper Hennessy receives first red card at 2022 World Cup

Wales goalkeeper Wayne Hennessy received a red card in the match with Iran in the 2nd round of the 2022 World Cup.

At the 85th minute of the match, he ran out of the penalty area, missed the ball and flew his knee into the head of Mehdi Taremi.

First, the referee showed a yellow card, but after watching VAR, he replaced it with a red one.

This is the first suspension in this World Cup - in the 17th game.
