The head coach of the German national team, Hans-Dieter Flick, shared his expectations for the match of the 2nd round of the 2022 World Cup against the Spanish national team.
"I participated in matches against Spain at the World Cup: the final in 2008 and the semi-final in 2010. We lost both times. But that's in the past. Now we are just looking forward to see if we can beat Spain.
The last two tournaments were not so good. We want it not to happen again. Therefore, we are fully focused on the upcoming game. For us, this is the first final at this World Cup. We will give our all," Flicka was quoted as saying by Sport1.
We will remind that in the first match at the 2022 World Cup, the Germans lost to the Japanese national team (1:2).
