In the footsteps of Shevchenko: Genoa will fire the head coach again

Genoa will soon fire head coach Alexander Blessin, journalist Fabrizio Romano reports on his Twitter page.

Blessin took over at Genoa in January when Andriy Shevchenko was sacked. With Blessin, Genoa was relegated to Serie B. At the moment, the club occupies the 3rd position in the standings, 8 points behind the leader Frosinone.

Blessin previously worked as the head coach of Leipzig and Ostend.
