Before the full-scale invasion of Russia, 23-year-old from Kiev Leonid Losev studied to be a manager and worked, and in his spare time visited the fan sector at the matches of his beloved Dynamo.

The guy met the beginning of a big war, carrying out border service in the Chernigov region and, together with his brothers, defended Chernigov, which at that time the Russians mercilessly fired from aviation and artillery.

Later, Leonid was transferred to the Donetsk direction, where four weeks ago he was seriously injured as a result of an enemy mortar attack. The young guy had to amputate his right leg, after which a complex and lengthy rehabilitation was needed, but the guy’s condition only worsened.

Dynamo Kiev, having learned about the injury of their fan, sent an ambulance from Kyiv for him, which delivered Leonid from the Dnipro hospital to one of the capital's hospitals. And the warrior’s mother Elena, who now does not leave her son and supports him, transported two more wounded soldiers from the Dnieper to Kyiv in her car.

In Kyiv, the fighter underwent eight difficult and painful operations, but he does not lose his optimistic mood and is looking forward to the start of the procedure for making a prosthesis and adapting to it. Leonid dreams of returning to playing football, which he played in childhood, as well as to another hobby of his - motorsport.

The leadership of Dynamo Kyiv took custody of the fighter - club president Igor Surkis personally controls the rehabilitation process and will help with organizing a family trip to Germany for prosthetics using the most modern technologies.

Today, Leonid was visited by Dynamo football players Sergey Sidorchuk, Denis Popov and Vladislav Kabaev, who talked to the guy, asked about the situation on the front line and conveyed to him and the fighters being treated next to Leonid words of gratitude for their feat, respect and support from the whole team. In addition, they brought a game T-shirt signed by all Dynamo players and a warm winter uniform.

The Dynamo team plans to continue visiting their fan and comprehensively contribute to his treatment, because this meeting added fighting spirit to all participants. To the question of the captain - what else is needed? - Leonid replied that he would like to get a soccer ball, and after prosthetics he plans to return to a full life and run even faster than before.

And for starters, the guys agreed that after prosthetics, Leonid would hit the first ball in any Dynamo match of his choice.

Dynamo Kyiv is incredibly proud of the heroism and courage of its fans and all the soldiers fighting for the freedom and independence of Ukraine at the front. The club will continue to do everything possible to help our brave heroes and together bring Victory over the Russian invaders closer.
