Juventus have confirmed that Massimiliano Allegri will remain as head coach, despite the entire current board of directors leaving the Turin club.
"Massimiliano Allegri remains a reference point in the sports field of Juventus. We are counting on him and the whole team to continue winning as they have shown in recent rounds. The club's aims remain high," the old lady's message said.
It will be recalled that Allegri is in charge of Juventus for the second time after managing the team in 2014-2019, succeeding Andrea Pirlo in 2021. This is not the first time the Turin club has found itself in a critical situation, with some figures of the current crisis being compared to the Calciopoli scandal, which saw the club relegated to Serie B in 2006.
