Former Shakhtar Donetsk defender Ismaily, who now plays for the French Lille, shared his impressions about the period of his life in Ukraine.
Ismaily“Ukraine is a wonderful country. The ten years I spent there were wonderful. Before I ended up in Ukraine, I didn’t even think and imagine that it could be so good to live. Ukraine is a beautiful country with fantastic people.
I have many friends in Ukraine. In addition, all my children were conceived in Ukraine. They were born in Brazil, but, as they say, they are made in Ukraine. Therefore, I have only the best memories of this country.
I hope that Ukraine will soon be able to get out of the current situation, and then I will be able to come there again and have a good time there," Ismaily said in an interview with Lille's official website.
