FIFA fined the Football Union of Serbia for the flag of the country with Kosovo in the dressing room before the match of the 1st round of the 2022 World Cup group stage with Brazil (0: 2), reports the Associated Press.

Scandalous flag in the locker room of the Serbian national team

The Football Federation of Kosovo filed a complaint with FIFA against the flag of Serbia with the Kosovo territory in the composition and the inscription "Do not give up". As a result, a fine of 20,000 euros was imposed on the Serbian federation.

Recall that the Serbian national team performed ingloriously at the 2002 World Cup: in the group with Brazil, Switzerland and Cameroon, the “brothers” scored a whole point and went home.
