The Pechersk District Court today, December 9, closed the civil case against the Setanta channel.
It was a lawsuit by Svetlana Valeriyevna Lobanovskaya against the Ukrainian Football Association, the Premier League, UAF Marketing and the Setanta channel to invalidate contracts and other acts related to the creation of a single telepool.
According to Setanta's lawyer Andrei Trembich, the case was closed due to the lack of jurisdiction of the Pechersky District Court in this sports (football) dispute.
The ruling will enter into force in 15 days, unless an appeal is filed.
