Former France striker Christophe Dugarry compared Antoine Griezmann to Zinedine Zidane and Michel Platini ahead of the 2022 World Cup semi-final against Morocco.
"Griezmann? I consider him simply exceptional since the beginning of the World Cup. Sometimes I even consider him "Zidanian". He always has the right rhythm, the right pass. I sincerely think that the French national team would not be the same without him. We often lack rhythm in our game, not much intensity. But as soon as Antoine touches the ball, he sets the pace of the passing. He has a combination of Zizou and Platini," Dugarry was quoted as saying by RMC Sport.
