Italian specialist Michele Marcolini has been appointed as the new head coach of the Malta national team. This is reported by the official website of the Malta Football Federation.
Michele MarcoliniIt is reported that Marcolini has signed an agreement with the Malta national team until 2024. Previously, the specialist worked with the teams of Series B and C.
Recall that the Malta national team is a rival of the Ukrainian national team in the selection for Euro 2024. Also in our group: Italy, England and North Macedonia.
The first match between the national teams of Ukraine and Malta will be held on June 19, 2023, and on October 17 - the second leg.
