Changes have been made to the format of the Club World Cup. The FIFA website informs about this.

It is reported that the Club World Cup will now be held every 4 years. Starting from 2025, 32 teams will take part in the tournament. The 2022 Club World Cup will be held in Morocco from 1 to 11 February 2023 according to the old principle.

Recall that in recent years, 6-7 teams have participated in the Club World Cup.
