The former defender of "Manchester United" Patrice Evra spoke about the Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo.
"I wished Ronaldo success at the World Cup. Of course, it is unpleasant for him not to be in the main team. Perhaps this was his last chance at the World Cup. The coach kept him on the bench in the playoffs.
I did not have a conversation with him about plans for the future. He had a dream to win the tournament with Portugal. When you reflect on your career, the thought arises in your head that it is time to stop. I will not be surprised if Ronaldo retires," Evra was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
