The Charitable Foundation of the Surkis Brothers and FC Dynamo Kyiv handed over another batch of aid intended for defenders of Ukraine who defend our country in hot spots.
Last month, the Foundation ensured delivery to Ukraine and further transportation to the front of two trucks filled with necessary hygiene products for our military. On Monday, December 19, two more large containers with hygienic products, antibacterial wipes for the military, which are one of the most demanded goods at the front, left for the needs of Ukrainian defenders.
Thanks to the support and help of the charity organization "Caritas" and American partners, it was possible to deliver a total of more than 30 tons of important cargo to Ukraine. One of the trucks is intended for the needs of employees of the State Border Service of Ukraine, and the other is for the Security Service of Ukraine. Both containers have already left for their destinations - directly from the "Dynamo" club base in Vyta-Litovsk, which in wartime also serves as a transport hub for humanitarian aid.
"Today, everywhere on the territory of Ukraine, a complex and heroic struggle is taking place for the right to live and have one's own state. In these conditions, Ihor and Grigoriy Surkisy created a charity fund, for the help of which hundreds of people turn to. Targeted assistance is provided by the efforts of the Foundation every day, but there is also more significant, larger-scale assistance, said the first vice-president of FC "Dynamo" Kyiv Vitaly Sivkov.
"Today we handed over humanitarian aid to the border troops and the Security Service of Ukraine. The foundation organized the logistics of transporting the cargo from overseas and thought through everything so that it would reach the soldiers who would be useful.
This is one of the working days of FC "Dynamo" Kyiv and the Surkis Brothers Foundation, in which the efforts of our managers and their good deeds are revealed. Now everyone is doing the work in which they can be most useful and effective. And the implementation of large-scale projects is just what Igor and Grigoriy Surkis do."
"The aid provided by the Surkis Brothers Foundation is very important for us," commented a serviceman of the State Border Service of Ukraine, lieutenant colonel, on cooperation with the Foundation Sergey Movchan. — Received hygiene products will be used for the needs of border service soldiers, will be accepted for material storage in the established order and will be handed over to the bodies and units of the military units of the State Border Service.
Many military personnel I know support Dynamo Kyiv. We are grateful to the club for its support and we wish only victories and the greatest achievements."
"We are very grateful for the cooperation that Dynamo is carrying out with the Security Service of Ukraine, providing us with humanitarian aid. Such support is of course very important to us.
The Security Service is also interested in football and cheers for Dynamo Kyiv. I play football myself, I watch Dynamo games, this is our team, for which we always support," said the lieutenant colonel of the Security Service of Ukraine Oleksandr Matvienko.
