One of those who won the 2022 World Cup as part of the Argentina national team was midfielder Alejandro Gomez, who is related to Ukrainian football.

This 34-year-old football player from 2013 to 2014 defended the colors of Metalist Kharkiv, which was then coached by Miron Markevich. As part of Kharkiv, the Argentinean played 24 matches, scoring 4 goals and giving 5 assists.
