Today, on December 22, a meeting of the UAF Executive Committee was held, at which, among other things, personnel issues were considered.
Ruslan RotanTwo of them were related to the completion on December 23, 2022 of the terms of the contracts of the head coaches of the youth team of Ukraine (U-21) Ruslan Rotan and the youth team of Ukraine (U-19) Serhiy Nagornyak.
Taking into account the successful fulfillment of the set tournament tasks and having considered the proposal of the UAF National Teams Committee, the UAF Executive Committee approved the decision to extend the contract with Rotan. In case of a successful performance at Euro 2023, which will be held this summer, and where the Ukrainian team got to, namely, obtaining an Olympic license, the contract provides for the option of automatic extension until the end of the 2024 Olympics.
It was also decided to extend the contract with Nagornyak until July 31, 2023.
Recall that yesterday Ruslan Rotan was appointed head coach of Oleksandriya.
