During the autumn, consultations were held between the UPL clubs and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. This will affect the winter training camp of the teams of the Ukrainian Football Championship.
As it became known from sources close to the governing bodies of domestic football, during the fall, a basis was being prepared for legal support for an important decision for the winter preparation period of teams playing in the Ukrainian championship of the current season.
The UPL clubs held consultations with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, which resulted in an agreement in principle to hold foreign training camps of Ukrainian clubs.
If the agreement reached in the near future is announced in an official decision, more than half a thousand football players, coaches and employees from among the staff, management, and support services will be able to go abroad.
At the same time, the “window” for going to foreign countries will be open exclusively for UPL clubs. The clubs of the lower leagues are preparing for training camps in Ukraine, many of them will take part in a new tournament - the PFL Winter Cup, which will be held in the domestic open spaces.
National teams of Ukraine (not only in football, from all sports officially recognized by the Ministry of Sports) also have a systematically reinforced right to leave, which is agreed and regularly updated in the ministry.
