In difficult times for Ukraine, when the Russian aggressor is fighting against the civilian population, trying to destroy the energy infrastructure and break the spirit of resistance of our state, the whole world has united around helping the Ukrainians.
In recent months, the issue of backup power in the event of a complete blackout for a long time has become acute in our country. In particular, as a result of regular rocket attacks on energy facilities, settlements in the Kyiv region are experiencing significant problems with power supply.
Thanks to the consolidation of the efforts of FC Dynamo Kyiv and the Dutch company Odink & Koenderink Nederland B.V., the city of Boguslav, Obukhovsky district, Kyiv region, received a powerful diesel generator of 550 kW, which will guarantee the uninterrupted life of the city.
Dynamo Kiev ensured the transfer of vital cargo to Ukraine and handed over the generator personally to Boguslav Mayor Vitaliy Khomenko. Our football club thanks the partners from the Coordination Center for Humanitarian Aid of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, who helped with the logistics support.
Such a generator is capable of ensuring the life of the entire city of Boguslav and its community, with a population of about 30 thousand inhabitants, in the event of a complete blackout. The power of the generator is enough to heal the central boiler house, the centralized water supply and drainage system, as well as the local hospital, school and community center, which in an emergency can turn into indestructible points for thousands of people.
