As it was already reported, in Belarus last autumn, Lvov goalkeeping coach Vasily Khomutovsky was arrested, who returned to his homeland for a knee operation.
The reason for the detention of the former goalkeeper was his participation in peaceful protest rallies in Belarus in 2020.
First, Khomutovsky received 13 days in prison for sending materials from a Telegram channel recognized as extremist in Belarus. But the troubles of the coach did not end there.
And in the coming days, one of the district courts in Minsk will consider the case of Khomutovsky on the main charge against him. According to the Belarusian media, the trainer faces a restriction of freedom for a period of two to five years or a prison of up to four years.
