To be honest, I definitely thought that the next step in my coaching career should be independent work in club football. However, I did not plan to take such responsibility until the summer, I wanted to bring the youth team to the end of its work cycle.
But when I began to carefully weigh all the pros and cons, I thought, why not? This is a new challenge for me. I'm interested in that. The youth national team is on the way, the main work on its formation has already been done. It remains to monitor the already recorded players, the selection process has already been completed and we know more or less all the players of Ukraine and our legionnaires in this age category. They are all in plain sight, we are watching them.
So, after weighing all the points, I agreed to take on this job. I am grateful for the understanding of the UAF, which is also interested in my development. I made an informed decision, so there is no need to worry about whether I will have time in both areas of activity," Rotan said.
