Cody Gakpo's transfer to Liverpool was logical and predictable. The Dutch winger was supposed to go to the Premier League in the summer, but then the management of PSV decided not to hurry with the sale, hoping that Hakpo could prove himself at the World Cup. Expectations were met, so the price of Cody increased, and it was sold for 50 million euros.
But the problem is that without Gakpo, it will be very difficult for the team to fight for the championship title, because this player often dragged the team behind him and scored many goals. Information has already appeared in the Dutch mass media that PSV may invite Viktor Tsygankov from Dynamo Kyiv as an alternative. There are other options (a player from AZ and a player from Molde), but the first one is too expensive and the second one is too questionable. To replace Gakpo, it is necessary to sign a player with a lot of experience, who knows how to be a leader and will be able to prove himself in matches against strong opponents.
That is why fans consider Viktor Tsygankov the most optimal option for PSV. It is enough to simply look at the polls conducted by local sites among fans. Tsygankov is ahead of the competition by a large margin. Many joke that it would be better to invite Mudryk, but the Dutch club does not have 100 million for "Ukrainian Neymar".
Mallih: Buy Tsygankov, please. It would be a great transfer for all parties. I can only wish PSV success in their attempts to sign such a player.
ST040: Tsygankov is a great replacement for Gakpo. Even let them play in different positions, but in terms of increasing attack and experience, this is a perfect option. The Ukrainian could seriously strengthen PSV.
Busby: Judging by the information provided to us by the mass media, Tsygankov is the best option. In addition, his contract will soon expire. You can even wait until the summer and sign it for free. Or now, but only if Dynamo agrees to let him go for an adequate amount, no more than 5 million euros.
Mattijs: Tsygankov is one of the best Ukrainian players, especially if we talk about the current generation of football players in this country. He plays for the national team, he played in the Champions League. He can be a leader and score beautiful goals in important matches. It's like Hakpo, only a little older.
Sambaz: Tsygankov is the best option. And it's not even the case that AZ won't let their player go now. And if he lets go, then at least for 20 million. I just think that Tsygankov is a much stronger and more technical player. I would be happy if we signed him even if Gakpo stayed at the club. We need such a football player, I hope that Dynamo will let him go.
Fossen: In Ukraine, only one player is stronger than Tsygankov, and that is Mudryk. But we don't have 100 million euros. And even if we had such money, Mudrik would not have agreed to move to PSV, having offers from the best clubs in the world. So the Wise Man is not even worth dreaming about. But Tsygankov is a real transfer for our club.
Mitch: Karlsson is not good enough for PSV. Playing for AZ in the Conference League is one thing. And fighting for the championship title and trying to get to the Champions League is a task of a completely different level. Karlsson is a decent player, but nothing more. But Tsygankov could become a real star at PSV. This is a very strong player.
BMG: PSV will do without a new player this season. In addition, we have financial problems, so even if we really received 50 million for Hakpo, it does not mean that the club management will decide to spend all the money on new players. As far as I understand, PSV can realistically spend 10-15 million of this amount on reinforcements. But I would rather wait until the summer, when Tsygankov's contract expires and he comes to us for free.
Optiek: Please don't buy Carlson! He is a mediocre footballer who will not strengthen PSV. I am not sure that Tsygankov will be able to adequately replace Gakpo, but at least this guy has been playing at a high level for a long time and has a lot of experience playing in prestigious tournaments.
PraatNL: Who knows anything about this Tsygankov? Is this really a good football player? It is confusing that he played for "Dynamo" until he was 25 years old, and did not move to a stronger championship. Even if you look at Mudryk, at the age of 21, the best clubs in Europe are watching him. And Tsygankov does not claim to play in top championships.
Lamia: I know few Ukrainians who would play at a really high level. These are Andriy Shevchenko, Mykhailo Mudrik, Oleksandr Zinchenko. Maybe 3-4 more footballers, but that's about it. I can't say anything about Tsygankov, I just haven't seen him play. But it confuses me that we have no real competitors in the fight for this football player. Can he strengthen PSV?
Mecca: The purchase of Tsygankov is nothing more than journalists' fantasies. He is one of the best players in Eastern Europe, his contract with Dynamo expires in six months. In the summer, Tsygankov will move to a strong club from a strong championship. Unfortunately, this is a footballer who is very strong for PSV.
Beijing: I would like PSV to sign Tsygankov and also Mudryk, Kluivert or at least Noah Lang from Club Brugge. But we need to really assess the level of our club. We are unlikely to be able to get into the Champions League in the coming years. We have financial problems and are constantly one step behind Ajax. We cannot afford to sign high level players. Only those who found themselves at the bottom, as it was with Götze. Tsygankov will not agree to move to PSV now, there is no point in even hoping for that.
H27: PSV has long been in trouble because we can't get to the group stage of the Champions League. We are forced to consistently sell the best players, but in their place there are rarely those who can replace them with dignity. Tsygankov is a great football player, but I don't believe he will want to play for PSV.
Tiesse: If you choose from all these options, you should certainly try to sign a contract with Tsyhankov. Other players will be able to substitute at best. And it's not a fact that it was successful. Only Tsygankov on this list looks like a player who can immediately strengthen the team.
Keweske: Tsygankov will agree to move to PSV only if he does not have more worthy options. And since his contract with "Dynamo" expires, he can go to any club for free. I think that there will be enough people willing to sign Tsygankov. And we certainly do not look like the best option for a Ukrainian.
Vakkie: Tsygankov is a great football player who would score 15-20 goals per season in the Netherlands. But what does PSV have to offer him? The Europa League and the fight for first place in the championship? He has this and is now in Dynamo. Money? But PSV cannot afford to pay a large salary. Now he is at such an age that he can play for us for a year or two and leave after receiving the first decent offer. Isn't it better to focus on talented players from our academy?
Elgersma: If PSV wants to win the championship this season, they need to invite Tsygankov. If we want to take second or third place, then we can buy Karlsson for 20-30 million, and after six months think about how to get rid of him. It's a choice without a choice. There is only one good player on this list and that is Tsyhankov.
Bartvan: Will Tsygankova be motivated to play for PSV? The Dutch championship is stronger than the Ukrainian Premier League, but I don't think the difference is huge. Tsygankov probably dreams of the championship of Spain or England. I don't think he will agree to play for PSV.
Diablo: I would like to buy Mudryk, but Tsygankov is also a great option. PSV scouts are said to have been following the Shakhtar player for the past 3 years, but he was not a priority for our team. A year ago, you could buy Mudryk for 10 million euros and Shakhtar would be happy to sell him. Now that's an unreal transfer. That's why I'm in favor of buying Tsygankov. It's not as flashy a player, but it's also very effective.
