Netherlands international Cody Gakpo has arrived in England where he will undergo a medical examination, after which he is expected to sign a long-term contract with Liverpool, according to Sky Sports.

PSV Eindhoven will reportedly receive between £35 million and £45 million for the striker's rights.

Manchester United also negotiated with Gakpo, but Liverpool turned out to be more persistent.
