Former Dynamo Kyiv defender Carlos Zambrano, who plays for the Argentinean Boca Juniors, will soon receive free agent status.
Despite the agreement valid until the summer of 2023, the Argentine club, which previously expected to extend the labor agreement for another 24 months, agreed with the footballer to terminate the contract early from January 1.
Carlos Zambrano fell out of favor with Boca Juniors head coach Hugo Ibarra due to disciplinary misconduct. He expelled the veteran from the first team, as a result of which the question arose of the expediency of continuing cooperation between the club and the football player.
Zambrano is expected to be out of work for a while. The club from his homeland, Alliance Lima, has already become interested in the services of the Peruvian.
The defender has already arrived in Peru, where he will negotiate with Alliance Lima in the next few hours and can sign a contract if he does not accept the conditions from another Peruvian club - Universidad Cesar Vallejo.
In August, it was reported that the Peruvian defender got into a fight in the Boca Juniors locker room with striker Dario Benedetto.
