Argentine national team goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez bought a shepherd dog to guard the medal for winning the 2022 World Cup.
Emiliano MartinezAccording to the Daily Star, Martinez acquired a specially trained Belgian Shepherd. Elite military units in the UK and the US are often used to perform combat missions. The Belgian Shepherd will guard Martinez's home, where his family also lives.
The Belgian Shepherd costs £20,000.
