"Team " for the 24th time has determined the list of the 33 best football players of Ukraine according to the results of the calendar year. On the basis of such a large array of data, a symbolic team was created for 24 years (1999-2022) - by the mathematical sum of reaching the top 33. In case of equality of indicators, preference was given to those who collected more higher places - first, second.
The only exception to the rule is mankurt Tymoshchuk, who we put behind bars, considering his betrayal of the Ukrainian people. The football player was powerful (13 times in the list of the best 33, 8 times at No. 1), but he chose his own path. And this character has nothing to do with Ukraine at the moment. Therefore, among the central midfielders of our symbolic national team for 24 years, there are others.
In this great team there are 10 footballers who are among the best 33 in 2022. Some of them (Andriy Yarmolenko, Taras Stepanenko, Ruslan Malinovskyi, Viktor Tsygankov) were also present in the symbolic national team of the past sample - 23 years ago.
Oleksandr Karavaev was also present, but moved from the position of right midfielder to the position of right defender: this is how Bohdan Butko dropped out of the symbolic national team, but Ivan Petryak got into its composition (although he did not enter the best 33 in 2022).
Serhii Sydorchuk was supposed to replace Andrii Husin from this team, but Tymoshchuk was removed from the team due to the reasons described above. Therefore, the third step remained for Gusin.
Together with Sydorchuk, four others got into such a prestigious historical company for the first time: Andriy Lunin replaced Vitaly Reva, Mykola Matvienko replaced Andrii Rusola, Oleksandr Zinchenko replaced Yuri Dmytrulin, Roman Yaremchuk replaced Artem Milevskyi.
