Manchester United has introduced a new rule to limit the salaries of players at the club. Ronaldo's Rule will limit football players' profits to £200,000 per week.
It is already known that the goalkeeper of the club, David de Gea, whose salary is now € 425,000 per week, will be the first to be affected by this rule.
The idea behind the new rule is that more players get paid at the same level, rather than paying individual stars very high wages, as was the case with Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo.
Recall that Ronaldo left Manchester United in November 2022. Later, the Portuguese striker signed an agreement with the Al-Nasr club, which runs until 2025.
