The terrorist country called "Russia" continues to reap the benefits of complete global isolation and fully enjoys the status of a pariah. This, among other things, applies to the world of football.
So, recently the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne (CAS) rejected the appeal of the Russian Football Union (RFU) and the football clubs of this country to expel Russia from all international tournaments both at the level of clubs and at the level of national teams.
“The matter is not only in the military conflict that Russia unleashed. It is also about his widespread condemnation and the corresponding reaction of the entire world sports community. Therefore, the presence of Russian persons in the international arena can cause protests and escalate into violence,” the CAS verdict says.
