33-year-old Ukrainian defender Yaroslav Rakitskiy is moving to Shakhtar as a free agent. The contract with the player is calculated until the end of the season.
Yaroslav Rakitsky (left; photo: shakhtar.com)Recall that Rakitskiy is a graduate of Shakhtar. He played for the first team of the Orange-and-Blacks from 2009 to 2019, played 326 matches, scored 14 goals and won 19 trophies with it.
In the spring of 2022, Yaroslav joined the Pitmen to take part in charity matches. Rakitskiy spent the first part of the 2022/2023 season at the Turkish club Adana Demirspor.
