The leaders of Girona, in a commentary to Marca, expressed their opinion on the transfer of the former midfielder of Dynamo Kyiv Viktor Tsyhankov.
“Viktor had options and opportunities at the big clubs in Europe, but he chose Girona and we need to respect that. He can give a lot to the team, because he is a footballer of a different level,” said club president Delphi Jeli.
“Tsygankov has a great shot, he scores and gives a lot. The Ukrainian Championship cannot be compared with La Liga, but Viktor played in both the Champions League and the Europa League. He has great potential,” said the sports director of the club, Quike Karsel.
