Journalist Artem Frankov commented on the transfers of Viktor Tsygankov and Mykhailo Mudryk to Girona and Chelsea, respectively.

— Who can replace Mudryk in Shakhtar and Tsygankov in Dynamo?

— "Dynamo" is conducting selection work, but this issue is unpredictable. They watch different football players there. In any case, "Dynamo" has players on the right wing - for example, Oleksandr Karavaev. He sits more on the bench, but can be released at that position, which has happened several times throughout the season.

As for Mudrik, at the moment he looks absolutely irreplaceable. He played in almost all the matches. I think that Shakhtar is also looking for someone. As a last resort, there is Ivan Petryak. It is a direct replacement for the Sage. Maybe, feeling trust, Petryak will blossom and play.

Both players were leading players for their teams, so Dynamo and Shakhtar are probably already looking for a replacement for them.

- Who will suffer more from the loss of their leader - "Dynamo" or "Shakhtar"?

— "Dynamo" should have been preparing for Tsygankov's departure for a long time, so it will be less of a loss for them. The fact is that the sale of Tsygankov was brewing. He was in his prime, in my opinion, a few years ago. But then the interests of the team exceeded, and they did not dare to let him go.

Regarding Mudryk, I did not expect this transfer to happen at all, because Shakhtar put a very high price for the player. I respect him, but 70+30 million euros is just a huge amount. I think Shakhtar is now feverishly thinking about how to make up for this loss without reducing the quality of the game. Therefore, the loss of Mudryk should be more tangible for them.

— How do you assess the prospects of Mudryk in Chelsea and Tsygankov in Girona?

— Mudryk's move to Arsenal could have been more promising. Arsenal do not look as disorganized as Chelsea. At least Arsenal understood why they wanted to buy him. Why Mudryk was bought by Chelsea is not entirely clear.

There's just a wild amount of players out there right now, not to mention the rumors that someone else will be bought. With all injury epidemics at Chelsea, they end sooner or later. How Mudryk will combine in the lineup with left wingers, Cukurella and Chilwell is a very interesting question.

In addition, it is not known in what form Mudryk is in January, whether he was ready for this transfer. We don't play in January, it's built into the players' bodies.

As for Tsygankov, I can only wish him success. Perhaps, in such a modest club as Girona, he will not only prove himself, but also attract the attention of the patron, Manchester City. There are very close ties between the two clubs. I think Viktor has every chance for this. Won't Tsygankov displace Mahrez from Manchester City? Easy!
