Matches of Atalanta, whose player is the midfielder of the Ukrainian national team Ruslan Malinovsky, but now plays on loan at Marseille, are banned for broadcast in France.
Ruslan MalinovskyAccording to Liberation, the official broadcaster of Serie A in France, beIN Sports, has announced that it will no longer show matches featuring Atalanta due to its sponsor, Plus 500.
The fact is that Plus 500 is a company from Cyprus that offers investment services related to risky financial contracts. Advertising of this sponsor is prohibited in France by the General Directorate of Consumer Affairs and the Fight against Fraud.
The court verdict of the above French instance banned the beIN Sports TV channel from showing Serie A matches in which Atalanta participates.
