Brazil defender Dani Alves, who was previously jailed in Barcelona without bail after being accused of sexual harassment, has been transferred to another prison, Mundo Deportivo reports.
Alves was initially placed in the Brians 1 facility, and on the morning of Monday, January 23, he was transferred to Brians 2. It is reported that this decision by the authorities can be interpreted as a favorable treatment of the footballer, since the Brazilian's new place of detention has individual holding cells that equipped with a shower.
The Ministry of Justice clarified that these measures were taken to ensure "the suspect's safety and peaceful coexistence in the residential module."
It will be recalled that earlier one of the girls accused the defender of putting his hand under her underwear. The alleged incident took place on December 30 in one of the nightclubs.
