Manchester City have signed Argentine prodigy Maximo Perrone

Manchester City have announced on their official website that Velez Sarsfield midfielder Maximo Perrone has joined the club.

The 20-year-old has signed a five-and-a-half-year deal with Pep Guardiola's side and will arrive at the club following the South American Under-20 Championship in Colombia. As reported by British journalists, the amount of the transfer of the Argentine was about eight million pounds.

Perrone made his first appearance for Velez's senior team in March 2022. During this time, the midfielder played 33 matches in which he scored three goals and made two assists.
