Both teams started this match confidently, but Dynamo were the first to concede. Moreover, in the literal sense of the word, they scored on their own: in the 13th minute of the meeting, Zabarny, in an attempt to intercept a flank cross, cut the ball into his own net - 0:1.
In general, the game was held in an equal fight and at a critically low pace, so the lack of sharpness in it did not look like something difficult to explain. However, in the 32nd minute of the match the score changed again. And again, Rapid achieved success. In the remaining segment of the first half, Dynamo managed to seize a certain advantage, but the Kievans did not have much chance to win back at least one ball. One can only note a powerful shot by Lonwijk from 18 meters away, which the goalkeeper of Rapid managed with some difficulty. The second half almost immediately began with another goal against Dynamo. At the 48th minute of the meeting, Burgstaller with a spectacular shot from the penalty area sent the ball exactly to the "nine" of the Dynamo goal - 0:3.
This goal also did not change the pattern of the game, which was still held in an equal fight, but in the 63rd minute, Dynamo finally created a scoring chance: Voloshin, the goalkeeper of Rapid, completed the attack from Kiev with a shot from the penalty area. hard to switch the game to a corner.
And on this, Dynamo's achievements in the attack in the reporting match were exhausted. In the remaining time of the meeting, Rapid completely controlled the course of the game, forcing the people of Kiev to engage exclusively in running work.
