More and more European football clubs are joining the initiative of Shakhtar FC and The European Football for Development Network - the European Football Powers Up Ukraine project, the goal of which is to collect 160 or more generators for the residents of Ukraine.
The day before, 30 generators were received from the Portuguese football club "Benfica" and the Fundacao Benfica charity fund, which have been providing humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian people since the first days of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
The stations were delivered to Ukraine thanks to the logistical support of the Warsaw Legii Foundation (Fundacja Legii) and will soon be given to those who need them.
We will remind you that in January, Shakhtar already sent 20 generators to Kherson to the public organization "City of Power" and 10 generators to the modular settlement of the displaced people of the "Friends of Ukraine Foundation" in Lviv, and also gave them to families in Kyiv and Lviv regions and to the public organization "Development Center" children with special needs "I believe in you".
