According to the source, Gordon himself prefers the Magpies, who hope to reach an agreement with Everton regarding the cost of the 21-year-old striker. The amount of the transfer can be 60 million euros.

In addition to Gordon, Newcastle maintain an interest in Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyesh. The Magpies want to take the Moroccan on loan with an option to buy.
