UEFA has stripped the Russian city of Kazan of the right to host the 2023 UEFA Super Cup. This was announced by UAF President Andrei Pavelko.
“I took part in the first meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee in 2023 via video link. One of the key issues for us that was resolved as a result of the work is the deprivation of the Russian Kazan of the right to host the match for the UEFA Super Cup, which is to be held in August.
Consequently, the aggressor country remains in complete isolation from the civilized world, in which it does not belong today. The duel for the Super Bowl 2023 will be hosted by Athens," Pavelko said on his Facebook page.
