English "Brighton" continues to make attempts to get Shakhtar Donetsk defender Mykola Matviyenko into their ranks.
As well-known journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano reported, the British sent the Pitmen a second offer to transfer the 26-year-old football player, expressing their readiness to pay Shakhtar 16 million euros for such a transfer immediately, and another 4 million in the form of bonuses.
According to the source, the Donetsk club was not satisfied with this offer and it refused Brighton, as in the case of the first offer in the amount of 11 million euros.
Recall, earlier it was reported that Shakhtar intends to sell Matvienko for 30 million euros. At the same time, the player himself has already agreed with Brighton a contract for five years.
