Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo missed today's team training, according to insider Fabrizio Romano.
On the night from Friday to Saturday, the 21-year-old Ecuadorian publicly announced his desire to leave the club on his Instagram. According to preliminary data, the Brighton management has not changed its position and wants to keep the player.
After missing training, Caicedo may be out of the Seagulls' squad for tomorrow's FA Cup game against Liverpool.
Romano adds that an improved transfer offer for the midfielder from Arsenal is expected in the near future. Brighton had previously turned down a £60m request, as well as £55m from Chelsea.
