Everton's new head coach Sean Dyche commented on his appointment.
"I would say we want to build a team that works hard, that can fight and wear the badge with pride. Hopefully, with the hard work of my staff and the players, we can rekindle the passion of the fans, because it's still there, as you can see.
The relationship with the fans is very important, especially for me. I have no illusions, I have to earn my right to coach this team. You can't come into a club and get an easy start. I have to show them what I do, what I can give. It takes time. We have to make the team work the way I think is appropriate to win games. This is the mentality that I want to build here - the mentality of winners," the 51-year-old coach was quoted as saying by the official website of "toffee".
Let us remind you that Dyche's contract with Everton runs until June 2025.
