Former Roma striker Antonio Cassano criticized the team's current coach Jose Mourinho after the exit from the Coppa Italia by Cremonese (1:2).
"Mourinho was never a great coach, he just knew how to play with the media and was a great communicator. He is good at dealing with strong players, but not with mediocre ones. It's too easy to just be friends with the big players.
It's just disaster after disaster at Roma. He made them spend on Nemanja Matic and Rui Patricio, those were his decisions. Their performance in the Cup almost made me throw up. He does not know how to build a team. Even against a minor team like Cremonese," Cassano was quoted as saying by Football Italia.
