According to the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus, a meeting of the collegium of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism was held in Minsk with the participation of members of the Executive Committee of the local football federation.

The main topic of the board was the question "about the reasons for the unsuccessful performance of the national football team of the Republic of Belarus and Belarusian clubs in international competitions and the measures taken to stabilize the situation."
The discussion was attended by Minister of Sports and Tourism Sergei Kovalchuk, First Deputy Minister Alexander Dorokhovich and other representatives of the sports department, heads and head coaches of football clubs, national teams of the country, chairmen of regional federations.
Sergei Mikhailovich raised the issue of the importance of communication between the federation, regional and regional departments, as well as with other institutions responsible for the development of the football industry in the country, including at the club level, noting that in this area it is necessary to combine efforts and work with maximum return.
The head of the Ministry of Sports also stressed the need for close integration of the football community with the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Sports, the active implementation of their scientific and medical projects and programs to improve the process of training athletes.
