Inter want to keep Romelu Lukaku and will meet with Chelsea directors to discuss the forward's future, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Belgian striker returned to Milan last summer on loan but has struggled with injuries this season, making just five appearances for the Nerazzurri and scoring two goals. Despite this, Inter wants to keep Romelu at the club until the end of the 2023/24 season. At the same time, the 29-year-old football player himself does not plan to return to Stamford Bridge.
According to the publication, "Inter" previously agreed on a meeting with representatives of the London club. The parties are likely to discuss Lukaku's future in mid-March, after the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 between Inter and Porto.
