FIFA has announced that it has decided to extend the transfer window in Turkey by 10 days due to the earthquake.
“Due to the exceptional situation caused by the natural disaster affecting Turkey, the FIFA Council Bureau has decided to extend the second registration period of the Turkish Football Association in the transfer registration system until February 18, 2023,” the federation’s press service said in a statement.
The transfer window in the Turkish league was supposed to close on February 8.
Thus, Denis Garmash and Alexander Andrievsky, whose possible transfers to Turkish clubs were previously reported by the media, can still make these transfers.
