— Yes, we worked fruitfully back in Kyiv, doing running work without the ball. After the vacation, it was quite difficult. And now for two weeks, without days off, they worked with the ball. Therefore, the coaching staff decided to provide three days of rest, families and children came to us. We rested a little and with renewed strength began to work on the second stage of the meeting.
— Two matches in a row after three weekends, is it a heavy load?
— We are athletes and we want to progress every day. Therefore, the coaching staff can see how to build a sparring program. Yes, it's difficult, but it's okay, all football players go through it, it's not new for us.
— At what percentage is the team functionally ready?
— Now there is a heavy load, we conduct two training sessions a day. I think we are 60-65% ready. There are still more than two weeks before the start of the championship, and there are many friendly matches and training ahead. Sparring shows that we still have a lot to work on. It is necessary to improve the quality of the game.
— How do young people present themselves at these gatherings?
— I like the guys' attitude to work. They behave modestly, train and give their all on the field. Tsarenko and Yatsyk have already scored goals. Yes, the transition from youth to adult football is not easy, but I think the coaching staff is satisfied with our youth, Mister praises them. Maybe there is still a lack of play in some moments, but overall the guys are well done.
— Do older comrades attract young people to the team?
- Of course. Our team is good and very young. We support young people at every training session. Everything is cool.
— What are the team's plans for the next few days?
— After the match, we have an evening training session. The coach said that there will be a theory about the analysis of games. And on February 14, we will hold the next sparring session.
