Tottenham midfielder Bentancourt is out for the rest of the season due to injury

Midfielder "Tottenham" Rodrigo Bentancourt is out until the end of the season due to an injury, the press service of the London club informs.

In the match of the 23rd round of the English championship with "Leicester" (1:4), the Uruguayan midfielder suffered a knee injury, due to which he was forced to leave the field early in the 65th minute of the match. After undergoing a medical examination, the player was diagnosed with a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the left knee. Bentancourt is awaiting surgery.

This season, Rodrigo played 26 matches for Spurs, in which he scored six goals and made two assists.
