On Tuesday, February 14, Dynamo Kyiv played their next friendly match at the off-season training camp in Turkey. This time Mircea Lucescu's team tested their strength against Pakhtakor from Tashkent, whose head coach is former Dynamo striker and coach Maxim Shatskikh.

In spite of nominal status of Dynamo as a favorite of the match Pakhtakor took an advantage from the whistle and was quite confident in ball control. However, already in the third minute of the match the Kyiv side were very close to score: Supryaga, playing a free kick, hit the wall, the ball bounced to Yatsyk, who hit from 20 meters on the crossbar of the goal team from Tashkent.
That moment was the only one worthy of mention in this game for a long time. "Pakhtakor kept leading the game at number one and Dinamo seemed to be waiting for something to happen. And they were waiting for something. On 34 minutes, Pakhtakor's flank attack ended with a cross and Khamdanov's header from the goalie line - 0-1.
Having conceded a goal, Dynamo tried to change the game, but Pakhtakor continued to look very confident and managed to maintain their advantage till the half-time whistle without much trouble.
The second half was marked by Dynamo's positional advantage, but the Kyiv side failed to achieve anything in attack, except a number of not particularly dangerous strikes from the middle and long range. As a result, the second half ended without goals, and thus Pakhtakor got a 1-0 win.
We would like to add that Dynamo will play their next friendly at the training camp in Turkey this coming Friday, February 17. This time the rival of the Kyivians will be Latvian Liepaja (the kickoff time is 16:00 Kyiv time).
